Gibbs Topological Analysis for Constructing Phase Diagrams of Binary and Ternary Mixtures

Abstract

A method of mapping and matching the Gibbs-energy gradient vectors, referred to as the topological approach, is found to be as reliable as the interval method in the tangent-plane phase-stability analysis for generating phase diagrams, but much more efficient.
